This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,

western Massachusetts, the southern Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga

Region, Capital District, Mid Hudson Valley, and Taconics of eastern

New York, and southern Vermont.

Thursday through Tuesday.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of eastern New York and

adjacent western New England within a Marginal to Slight Risk for

severe thunderstorms for Friday and Friday evening. Damaging wind

gusts would be the primary threat from these scattered

thunderstorms.

WEATHERCAST:

THE PLUME OF TROPICAL MOSITURE CONTINUES TODAY BUT COVERAGE WILL BE LESS THAN YESTERDAY AND TEMPS WILL BE IN THE STICKY 80S. FAIR TONIGHT. ANOTHER FRONT HEADS OUR WAY FRIDAY…SO, HAZY AND HOT, HUMID WITH STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THAT FRONT SHOULD HELP THINGS BECOME MORE STABLE SATURDAY WITH LESS SHOWERS AND HUMIDITY. EVEN BETTER WEATHER ON SUNDAY…OUR PICK FOR THE WEEKEND. WE MAY RETURN TO MIAMI BEACH WEATHER AGAIN NEXT WEEK.
