On select dates from January 18 through March 23, 2026, participating Millerton restaurants will host their own Dine Out for History night, where 10 percent of the proceeds from all patrons that night will be donated to the historical society to support its research, digitize its collection and make historic content more available to the public.

The historical society will start the series of events at The Millerton Inn, 53 Main Street, on Sunday, January 18. An optional brief presentation — a participatory local history quiz — will be at 5:30 p.m. for those who want to come early. It will be offered with a free glass of wine, and guests can enjoy their dinners at the inn after that. Dinner reservations are requested.
The other participating restaurants are Taro’s at 18 Main Street on Thursday, January 29; Willa at 52 Main Street on Thursday, February 12 (reservations requested); the Oakhurst Diner at 19 Main Street on Sunday, February 22; Pasture Kitchen at 130 Route 44, on Thursday, March 5; the Golden Wok at Railroad Plaza, 2 Main Street, on Sunday, March 15 (takeout only); and Round III at 5523 Route 22, on Monday, March 23.
