ABove, satellite + radar shows rain moving into Great Lakes and that will be just the start of a band of rain to extend south through the PLains over weekend and next week. Below….risk of severe weather today in dark green and yellow .

Below – tropical Atlantic. Hurricane center has upped the probability of something in Gulf to 60%. I have been warning that something would form out of left overs from Kirk. This system is expected to hit Gulf Coast next week. Satellite picture also follows.
