Alexandra Baer, Unison Arts Center Director, who is running for a seat at the New Paltz council, spoke of her campaign and what motivated her to enter politics. La Voz covered a demonstration in front of the Orange County jail, where many immigrants, including Luis Martinez, are held. The wife and mother of the detained immigrant spoke with La Voz.
