She spoke with Kaity Altu, director of Mountain Rise Daycare in Lake Katrine, who bases her work on the Montessori method. Kaity explained how a circumstance in her life made her focus on child care. And speaking of circumstances in life, there are some that change everything. Lucia Amezquita, from Restrepo, Colombia, became quadriplegic, unable to move her arms or legs, at age 27 in a swimming accident. Thanks to her willpower and love for her son, she managed to feel motivated to continue living despite everything.
