Hear My Voice and we need media literacy
This week in La Voz en Breve, journalist Mariel Fiori has a show on immigration and culture.
To support immigrant children, the Project Amplify campaign has published the book Listen to My Voice, The Testimonies of Young People Detained on the Southern Border of the United States, compiled by Warren Binford. She spoke with attorney Michael Garcia Bochenek, chief legal advisor for Human Rights Watch’s Children’s Rights Division, who wrote the preface to the book Hear My VoiceArtist, photographer, and teacher Camilo Rojas returned to speak about perceptions, media literacy, and the role of the image in the outcome of the George Floyd murder trial.
