This year’s antique race car parade will benefit the Corner Pantry! On Thursday, August 31, about 100 cars will leave Lime Rock Park’s Sam Posey Straight at 4:00 p.m., then go west to Route 41, turning right to head through Lakeville and Salisbury where the sidewalks are bustling with spectators. Looping through Noble Horizons for the benefit of its residents, the parade passes through Salisbury once again before turning left onto Salmon Kill Road, destination Falls Village. There, a street fair and car show, ably organized by the Falls Village Inn, begins around 5:00 p.m., with live entertainment, food, beverages and fun.
