TUES: PERIODS OF RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW SHOWERS AS IT TURNS WINDY AND COLDER. HIGHS FALLING THRU 30S INTO 20S.

WED: SUNNY- BRISK – COLD – LOWER 30S   

WEATHER TRIVIA:1940- ARMISTICE DAY STORM – WORST IN UPPER GREAT LAKES: 49 DEAD IN MINNESOTA, 59 IN MICHIGAN – 17” SNOW IN IOWA. 

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut, the Catskills and mid-Hudson Valley in eastern New York.Monday through Saturday.Light accumulations of snow, sleet or freezing rain are possible Monday night into early Tuesday. Should confidence increase in ice accumulations, a winter weather advisory may be needed. Falling temperatures on Tuesday could lead to hazardous travel conditions for the morning commute.
