Satellite = radar shows another front from Lakes to So. Plains. This system will result in strong winds for California with fire danger high there.  Tropical system in Gulf should get absorbed by front and that moisture hits East Coast on Sunday.  Below – animated maps next 2 days followed by rainfall into Tuesday.
