The mission of this enterprise is to promote sports-related fundraising events, give exposure to the benefiting charities and shed light on the sponsoring businesses, all in a format that informs, engages and entertains.

Willie Hallihan is a life-long resident of the Northwest corner of Connecticut. He has always loved all that the tri-state area has to offer and cherishes the friendships that seem to come so easily with rural living. Willie is a long time board member of Salisbury Winter Sports Association. This website is a melding of Willie’s interests in both sports and local causes.

The Little Guild  Run & Wag has gone VIRTUAL! September 18 – October 31st. You can run, walk or wag at your own pace on your own schedule. Just complete a total 5K between now and 10/31. The 37th Annual Northwest CT CROP Hunger Walk will be held virtually this year. In past years over 500 people have gathered to walk, show their support  and raise money to fight hunger both locally and worldwide. 35th Annual Sharon Classic Road Race Virtual for 2020
September 26 – October 4

Rescheduled to September 26th from its original May date, the 35th Annual Sharon Classic Road Race is now virtual for 2020. How does a virtual race work? Participants register online (https://www.sharonclassic.org/register) and receive a race bib #.
